Thyroid

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

lodine

The thyroid works like a windshield washer. A little here and little more there. It's essential for digestion. When you eat, it squirts a little hormone out and you get the heat it takes to break down the food. The drug puts all the hormone in at once and nothing there later. Taking the drug does nothing for the thyroid. Ultimately we want our thyroid to deliver the hormone when we need it and not when we don't.

The thyroid lives on lodine, found in most greens, in proper doses. Kelp has the most but iodine is very dangerous internally. Less than 750mcg will make you ill and over 750 mcg can make you very ill! Most greens, like Alfalfa have a safe amount of iodine but before we take kelp we can test with regular iodine.

Put a spot of iodine on your stomach, about the size of a silver dollar. Be careful not to spill as it will stain.

You're looking to stain your skin, let it dry for a minute and check it every hour. If it disappears in less than 24 hours your thyroid was hungry and you fed it. Do it again until it stays for 24 hours. Day by day, you'll feel better and you can test and feed your thyroid any time.

If your thyroid is hungry it will take in the iodine, and if not, it won't. This makes it a very safe test and fix at the same time.
